Springing into action

The National Trust for Scotland’s Culzean Castle and Country park is springing into action this April to provide family fun for the half-term break.

Visitors can find out what it was like to be a servant in the stunning historic castle, or try their hand at cooking up some Georgian recipes. For those that favour fresh air, the garden’s spectacular spring flowers will be the inspiration for some walks, or see Culzean from the sea with a kayak taster day.

Property Manager Sinclair Williamson said: “There is so much to see and do on a trip to Culzean that we can keep the whole family entertained. We’ve really ramped up the events for 2016 to give visitors and even better experience and to encourage them to come back again and again.”

The full programme is: 18 April, 11am - 12.30 - Every Day is a New Adventure - Child friendly activities introducing kids to the full range of seasonal wonders to be found at Culzean. Next to Adventure Cove.
