A wine and whisky evening proved a hit with party-goers in a whitewashed stone barn.
Nearly 50 people enjoyed the Wine and Whisky tasting organised by Maybole Save the Children Fund at Dalduff Barn, near Crossshill. The event raised more than £400 for the charity which will be doubled by the UK government to make more than £800 to help children across the world.
Chair Becky Fleming said:”We are delighted with the result of the tasting and are putting out an appeal for helpers at our next event-a bag-pack at Asda in Girvan on Friday. If anyone can spare an hour or two to help us bag-pack in the store please can they contact me as soon as possible on: 01655-882106. And they can wear a Christmas jumper too and get in the festive spirit!”
