THE 30th Carrick Lowland Gathering took place at Victory Park, Girvan, on Sunday, living up to its promise as a great day out for all of the family.
As always, there was a variety of activities for children including owl magic, highland dancing, fairground rides and archery.
The event was organised by members of the Girvan and District Attractions and Entertainments Association.
This year’s chieftain was John Dalrymple-Hamilton, who took over from last year’s chieftain, Kevin Reilly, chairman of the Royal Scottish Pipeband Association.
Pictured is Dylan Rice (6) who loved the view from high above the fairground.
