Animals cause angst among Carrick police

CARRICK police officers have attended three instances of unruly animals within only two days.

On Saturday November 3 Girvan police officers were called to Colmonell after receiving reports of two cows loose on the B734.

On Sunday it was Maybole beasts causing disruption, as police received two calls reporting cows on the A77 south of the town, while on Monday November 5 some wandering sheep were causing concern to drivers on the A719 near the Electric Brae.

In all cases the animals were conveyed safely to their fields.
