Ayrshire stays ahead in business

Ayrshire Business Week will launch with an event focusing on developing the right mind-set to stay ahead in business.

The fully funded event, hosted by Business Gateway Ayrshire, is open to all local businesses and will feature experts who will look at how to improve creativity, customer service and your overall business brain.

Held on Monday, 3rd October from 9am to 1pm at the Western House Hotel, Ayr, attendees will be given an important insight in how to foster creative ideas.

The event will describe current trends and opportunities that are available in both the local and national marketplace, examine key areas of opportunity as well as how to take advantage of them, and explain how to develop the skills and processes needed to encourage innovation.

Claire Duncan, Events & Marketing Officer, Business Gateway said: “Ayrshire Business Week is always a highlight of the Ayrshire business community’s calendar and we have ensured that the week begins with a quality event. The most powerful business asset is your brain and learning how to develop both yours and your staff’s will ensure that your business stays ahead of the curve. Our ‘A Head for Business’ masterclass will also include networking opportunities so attendees can meet with likeminded people.”

The guest speakers will be Martin Stepek, CEO of the Scottish Family Business Association and former co-owner of Stepek, the electrical retail and travel agency business; Gary Ennis, Managing Director of NS Design, a web design and social media training company and leading sports reporter and behaviour and performance specialist Connie McLaughlin.
