John Neil Rural, the valuers and land agents, have an announced an enhancement of the services they offer to farmers and landowners in south-west Scotland.
The business, part of the Davidson & Robertson group, one of Scotland’s oldest established firms of rural surveyors, is set to move to larger premises in Castle Douglas and increase its professional staff presence in the town.
The expansion comes on the back of growing uptake of the firm’s services in Dumfries and Galloway and Ayrshire, including farm and estate management, wayleaves and infrastructure project work, renewables, valuations and property sales.
Clare Maxwell, who has been working from the existing Castle Douglas office and a satellite office at Ayr Mart, will take full charge of running the new office following her promotion to the role of associate director. Clare and the existing team will be joined by new recruit Helen Simpson as an assistant land agent.
The new John Neil Rural office is at 162 King Street, Castle Douglas.
