Glenluce Tractor Rally, held every year in June in the village near Stranraer, is now the most successful one-day event for vintage and classical tractors in south-west Scotland.

Besides showcasing more than 100 tractors and other exhibits, the rally organisers, along with Maggie’s Kitchen, a group of ladies who supply refreshments at the rally, has since 2001 raised thousands of pounds for charity.

Following on from the rally in 2013, money amounting to £1847 raised by a very successful road run through the grounds of Castle Kennedy, was recently presented to Cancer Research UK.
