Girvan got fully into the Christmas spirit on Sunday with the town’s street party hailed a massive success.
There was an afternoon of fun for all the family with children at the heart of the entertainment.
Santa set off from Toy Castle in Dalrymple Street and made his way to his grotto at Stumpy Tower.
Judging by the queue outside it looks like all the children in Girvan have given Santa their Christmas lists.
There was open air carol singing at Chalmers Arcade, the introduction to the Snow Babes and Snow King and Queen along with the lights switch on at 4pm.
Teas and coffees were available in the community centre and their were stalls, kids rides, bouncy castles, climbing wall, balloon modellers, bucking reindeer, stilt walkers, dancers and kids characters.
Winner of the Girvan Youth Trust large Unicorn Soft Toy was Sharon Monteith. Girvan Youth Trust would like to thank everyone who supported this ‘special one day only ‘ raffle in aid of GYT.
Tickets for this year’s Magic of Christmas toy raffle will be on sale as of Wednesday 25th November, with the draw being made on Friday 18th December.
