Community garden joins world fair trade day

We all know what it is like to live on a tight budget especially in this climate but for those who suffer from extreme poverty it is a different matter.

Girvan Community Garden and the Global Poverty Project have partnered together to offer you the opportunity to view the 1.4 Billion Reasons presentation as part of our small celebration for World Fair Trade Day on Saturday 12th of May.

The presentation is delivered by trained presenters and will focus on many aspects of poverty and how we can help in our day to day lives in the developed world.

We will be serving Fair Trade tea and coffee and have other Fair Trade items to sample.

Find out more about this event by visiting the Fairtrade and the Global poverty project website
