Duke to visit lifeboat stations

His Royal Highness the Duke of Kent, president of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, will be visiting local lifeboat stations this month.

His busy itinerary shows he will call at Kippford, Kirkcudbright, Portpatrick, Stranraer, Girvan and Troon on Thursday and Friday, May 24 and 25.

On the Thursday he will be at Kippford lifeboat station from 2.10-2.40pm and Kirkcudbright boathouse from 3.45-4.15pm. On the Friday he will call at Portpatrick lifeboat station from 9.05-9.35am, Stranraer lifeboat station from 9.50-10.20am, Girvan lifeboat station from 11-12.30pm and Troon lifeboat station from 2-2.30pm.
