Exciting times are ahead for The Carrick Centre as the Youth Innovation Project has kicked off with a bang thanks to funding from the William Grant Foundation.
The Foundation has provided funding to support the essential Youth Work of the Centre, helping our local youngsters to become more confident, more skilled and ultimately more employable.
The Programme at The Carrick Centre offers young people aged 7-25 the opportunity to advance their existing skills in IT as well as learning new skills in digital media. Through a series of hands-on workshops young people are supported by a qualified professional to encourage them to think creatively and offered a fun way to learn.
The Youth Innovation Project has an exciting summer programme with up to six sessions a week, ranging from Digital Arts to Creative Cookery.
There really is something for everyone this summer at The Carrick Centre!
