A GIRVAN family has been left devastated by the disappearance of their dog.

Pippa, a three-year-old black labrador, has been missing from the home she has had since a pup at Stevenson Hall, near Girvan’s Grangestone Industrial Estate, for a month – to the great distress of her owner’s five grandchildren.

Neil Sykes, 31, said on behalf of his father – Pippa’s owner – that she is very much missed and the whole family is upset about her disappearance, especially Mr Sykes’ grandchildren who are all aged between two and 12 years and very fond of their Papa’s canine pal.

Pippa was wearing a red collar when she was last seen, has white marks on her muzzle, and is microchipped.

The Sykes are offering a reward for her safe return, and ask that anyone with any information get in touch on 01465 712340.
