An Ayrshire based butchery business had its products showcased at this year’s Royal Highland Show thanks to its ongoing supplier relationship with Aldi.
We Hae Meat which is based in Girvan has been working with Aldi since 2011, supplying the retailer with products including steak slice sausage and beef olives in a contract worth in excess of £1m a year.
The company which also produces peppered steaks and burgers current employs over 50 staff and is planning an expansion to its production facility to allow for further growth.
We Hae Meat is one of 14 producers that will be showcasing their products to thousands of people at Aldi’s Royal Highland Show area across four days.

We Hae Meat’s presence at Aldi’s Royal Highland Show area further highlights the retailer’s commitment to stock the best of Scottish produce as part of a home-grown sourcing policy.
