Girvan Youth Trust held a cross-dressing fundraiser day on Sunday 4 August.
The fundraiser saw people from the And Beyond project come together with those who have completed the Pacific Institute’s PX2 course to take part in a walk around Girvan.
For over two hours youngsters walked the length of Girvan after the males and females had swapped clothes, hair accessories and make-up
The walk raised vital funds for future trips and outings and at the time of writing £450.00 has been raised with more money still to come in.
Girvan Youth Trust’s Heather McCafferty said “The walk was a great laugh and the young people all done exceptionally well raising such a large amount of money. We would like to thank all the young people who put in such a huge effort to make the walk a success. We would also like to thank the young people’s family, friends and members of the public for being so generous with their donations”.
