There was some brisk trade at the popular Ballantrae Farmers’ Market on Sunday, 18 August.
The market ran from 11am until 3pm at Craigiemains Home and Garden centre in Ballantrae Main Street and some of the traders reported selling out early due to some brisk trading.
The market included a range of locally sourced quaity artisan foods, award winning cheeses, rare breed pork, beef and lamb, fresh vegetables, jams, preserves plus other local specialist products.

Their traditional and well-loved Ayrshire Dunlop has just won a gold award at this year’s international cheese awards.
