Have your say on Scotland’s future

Girvan South Parish Church is holding a unique event this Saturday which is inviting you to have your say on Scotland’s future.

The event, being held by the Church of Scotland and the Church and Society Council, is a non-political initiative ahead of next years referendum.

Instead the church wants people to come along and share the values and ideas that you want to see developed in Scotland over the coming years within your communities.

The Imagining Scotland event will start at 10.30am and last for around two hours and is the only one of its kind in the area. It is free to attend.

Questions might include: “How can we make Scotland a better place to live?”, “What values are important for me for the future of Scotland?” and “How do we put these aspirations into action?”

The results of these discussions along with results of other events in Scotland will be published in 2014.
