Jay has sights set on chart success

Rock drummer Jay Hepburn is riding high in the itunes chart this week with his band Little Eye.

The Scottish rock group, managed by Malcolm Blair, who also manages Alesha Dixon, have just recorded a new album, Fighting the Future.

The album was produced by Geoff Dugmore, a Scottish drummer who has played on over 120 top ten records including hits by Rod Stewart, Stevie Nicks and Joan Armatrading.

Jay, originally from Pinwherry, has also been touring worldwide with the Red Hot Chilli Pipers, but he has his focus firmly on chart success with Little Eye with their single, also titled Fighting The Future.

The single is now in the top 20 of the iTunes alternative chart.

The band have also announced the official launch gig of their debut album at King Tuts Glasgow (Over 14s) on Sunday the 8th of June.
