Lifeboat called out to help vessel near Mull of Galloway

The Girvan Lifeboat was called out on Thursday 27th November at 5.30pm to help a fishing vessel which had reported an engine failure north of Corsewall Point.

The Girvan lifeboat towed the vessel named Morning Dawn to Stranraer harbour where the Stranraer in-shore lifeboat and coastguard assisted in berthing the vessel.

The Girvan crew returned at 1.30am.
