Local photographer gives Burns a statesmanlike edge

GHOSTS and warlocks, Burns Cottage and Monument, poetry and roses featured frequently in the entries to both the prints and projected images section of the recent Girvan Camera Club’s Robert Burns competition.

But it was Yvonne Morrison’s Rushmore Rabbie, pictured, which won the prints section and Donald Love’s Burns’ Father’s Grave which won the projected images section.

Girvan Camera Club meets every Tuesday at 7.30pm in the small hall behind the South Church in Girvan.
