NHS host diabetes event

Do you have Diabetes? Do you live with or care for someone who has Diabetes?

NHS Ayrshire & Arran’s Diabetes Managed Clinical Network is hosting their sixth diabetes patient conference.

Local people who have diabetes, or know someone who is affected by the condition, are welcome to attend the event in the Alexander Fleming Education Centre at University Hospital Crosshouse from 9am until 12.30pm on Saturday, May 11. People will have the opportunity to speak to professionals and will be able to learn more about diabetes from presentations, information stands and workshops. They will also be able to share their experiences about living with diabetes with other people. One delegate from the 2011 Conference said: “Very caring and friendly staff made the day very informative and enjoyable”. Places must be booked in advance and are limited so please book early.
