Police make impact on drugs-related crime

Figures released by Strathclyde Police show that the local community team is making a significant impact on drugs-related crime in the area.

Statistics for the three months up to the end of November showed that there has been a drop of over 70% in reported drugs related offences compared with the average for the same period over the last five years.

This came ahead of the offensive against drugs mounted last month by the local policing team.
