The race is on to win one of the prestigious category titles at the Ayrshire Business Awards 2016.
The awards, which are hosted by Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce, attract high profile industry support and this year is no different with Munro Partnership Ltd coming on board as the new principal sponsor.
Managing Director, David Hughes said: “Last year’s event was first class and we were fortunate enough ourselves to win the award for ‘Excellence in People Development’. The entry process was very positive for our staff and the recognition for our business was hugely beneficial. Very best of luck to all the businesses who are entering this year.”
Ayrshire Business Awards are free to enter, open to businesses of all sizes and in all sectors operating throughout Ayrshire. The range of award categories has been designed to be fully accessible to all businesses.
This year will see two new categories introduced - Independent Retailer Award and Developing the Young Workforce Ayrshire Award. It is free to apply and companies can pick from the 13 categories to enter.
The Chamber Champion Award will also be presented at the Awards Dinner to the Chamber member who has given the largest number of referrals within a 12 month period to the Chamber’s membership team.
This year, the judges are looking forward to finding more inspiring examples in Ayrshire’s vibrant business community that illustrate the wealth of talent and enterprise in the region.
All finalists will be featured in the media and the winners will be announced at the glittering awards dinner at Seamill Hydro on Thursday 9th October 2016.
Chamber Chief Executive Val Russell added: “The Ayrshire Business Awards really do show the strength of business in the area. The standard of applications gets better each year and it is great to see so many high flying organisations here in Ayrshire.”
