Reward for Girvan Primary kids

Pupils at Girvan Primary were all smiles on Thursday morning after the Nestle Factory had provided them with their latest donation.

The factory which is based at the Grangestone Industrial estate has given the school £1,400 which is in recognition of the eco-work carried out in the school by members of the eco-committee.

The significant money will also be used to cover the costs of the school’s Star Award scheme.

The star award scheme promotes and recognises good behaviour in the school amongst pupils.

Nestle representative Gregor Cook was kindly on hand to smile for the cameras along with pupils from the eco committee as well as members of the pupil council and school captains.
