Santa’s coming to town

Santa’s Sleigh will be visiting the towns around Carrick during the first and second weeks of December.

Santa is being ably assisted by the Rotary Club of Girvan in the town itself and by the members of Carrick Round Table in the surrounding towns and villages.

Santa will be at Girvan North at 6pm on Monday, December 12; Dailly at 6pm and Girvan South at 7.30pm on Tuesday, December 13; Girvan at 6pm on Thursday, December 15 and Asda, Girvan on Saturday, December 17 from 10am to 4pm.

Collections will be made in aid of Children’s Hospice Association Scotland.

Sweets will be given out to children who have been good throughout the year!

Any donations that the public make will be gratefully accepted by members of Carrick Round Table allowing it to continue funding worthy projects in the communities where money is collected.

Recent projects that have received funding are Maybole and Kirkoswald Christmas Lights switch-on, Kirkmichael Youth Group received a Pool Table, Crosshill and Kirkmichael Parents Associations received assistance to put on their School Fete and Gillian Baird of Crosshill has received sponsorship to help her train towards competing in the Shot Putt in the 2016 Olympics in Rio De Janeiro.

With help from Carrick Round Table Santa will be at Culzean Road, MacAdam Way, Maybole on Monday 5th December; on Tuesday 6th December at Gardenrose, Maybole; Wednesday 7th December; Dailly Road, Maybole; Thursday 8th December; Kirkmichael Road, Main Street, Maybole; Friday 9th December; Kirkoswald, Maidens; Monday 12th December; Minishant, Kirkmichael; Tuesday 13th December; Dalrymple; Wednesday 14th December; Dalrymple, Hollybush; Thursday 15th December; Straiton, Crosshill; Friday 16th December; Dunure, Fisherton.
