Scottish Symphony Orchestra in concert at Ayr Town Hall

The 31st Ayr Concert Series of six concerts comes to a close on Friday, April 20, at 7.30pm, when the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra directed by Laura Samuel plays in Ayr Town Hall.

The concert opens with one of Mozart’s most famous works Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, includes the song cycle Benjamin Britten made in 1939 of some of Rimbaud’s poems and closes with Mozart’s ‘Jupiter’ Symphony,

The concert is arranged for South Ayrshire Council by volunteers from Ayr Arts Guild. Tickets: adults £24 circle, £20 stalls; students £5 stalls; Schoolchildren £3 stalls,from Ayr Gaiety Box Office, Tel: 01292 288 235, Monday to Saturday 10am-5pm.
