Nominations can be submitted by members of the public or colleagues for either an individual or a team. Nominations can be made in five categories: Innovation,

Equalities in Action, Sustainability, Inspirational Young Employee and Service Excellence.

Councillor Bill McIntosh, Leader of the Council said: “We are looking for members of the public to nominate employees who they believe have given them outstanding service.

“The Outstanding People Awards are a terrific way to recognise the excellent work that goes on across the Council and highlight the efforts of those who go all out to deliver the best service possible.

“It’s extremely encouraging that many of our nominations have previously come from members of the public. I hope that this continues and we see even more nominations from our customers and service users this year.

“Every nomination is an example of someone receiving a quality service from the Council and I would urge all of you to let us know about the shining stars we have in our organisation.

“Nominating an employee is easy to do, it only takes a few moments, so please help us to recognise our outstanding employees, make your nomination today.”
