The South Ayrshire Social Enterprise Network (SASEN) is hosting an event at the University of West of Scotland campus in Ayr on Wednesday 10th April.
The event is entitled “communicating with your communities and customers” and is designed to support those involved in social enterprises.
It will run from 9am-2pm and anyone is welcome who wants to discover how they can be more effective in informing stakeholders, communities and customers about what they are doing.
SASEN had their inaugural event in November last year at the Carrick Centre and this event is described as having a focus on marketing and promotion.
However, voluntary organisations are also being urged to attend the event to find out what their development needs are and to possibly discover other sources of income other than grant funding.
The inaugural conference last year also saw the launch of South Ayrshire Council’s AMBITION programme which has now been extended until September 2016. The programme has pledged £340,000 worth of funding to social enterprises until then.
