Stranraer Lowland Gathering - a great day for all the family

Stranraer Lowland Gathering on Saturday 30th August promises to be a great day out for the family.

The Entertainment includes Scottish Country Dancers, Highland Dancers and the Blue Bombshells.

Add to this the host of Trade and Craft Stalls and the ever popular Owl Magic, and there is entertainment for all ages.

The kids wont be disappointed either with their entertainment including a Mega Slide, a bouncy Tractor and Trailer, Face Painting, Sand Art and more!

There will, of course be Food vans, Ice Cream, and a Beer Tent!

The Pipe Band competition has more than doubled this year and there are bands from across Dumfries and Galloway, Ayrshire, Glasgow, and Northern Ireland.

The parade through the Town will leave the field at 5.15pm

Free parking will be available in Rephad School, with a Disabled parking area in the event field close to the Rugby Club.

Tickets are priced at £3 per adult, £2 per concession, and £8 for a Family of four.
