Girvan Youth Trust are gearing up for a fantastic summer programme which will have something for all ages and particularly for the kids just in time for the summer holidays.
The boating pond will be open throughout the summer holidays from Saturday 27 June to Sunday 16 August (except when it will be closed on Wednesday’s). It will be open from 1-5pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday as will the putting green at the same time.
On Tuesday afternoons from 1.30-3.30pm at the seafront there will be free fantastic children’s entertainment which for 2015 includes magicians, entertainers and several new puppet shows.
There is more fun for the kids on Thursday afternoons from 1.30-3.30pm at the seaside with free activities including sandcastle competitions, sand art and the ever popular ‘Pirates Day’. This year arts and crafts activities are also includes which will take place in Louisa Drive.
The final part of their seafront line up is their Music On the Prom which will begin on Sunday 5th July and run for seven weeks on every Sunday from 1pm-5pm. Favourite golden oldie tracks from the 50s,60s and 70s will be spun with live music from top performers taking centre stage between 3pm and 4pm.
