Donald Trump is set to fly into the area this week as he unveils his stunning new multi million pound refurbished clubhouse at the Trump Turnberry resort.
The American tycoon and his son Eric will both be at the unveiling on Monday 8 June which will see the clubhouse opened to the media and members for the first time.
The building has been closed since November last year and has undergone a radical transformation which will see a hugely extended pro shop and retail section as well as newly named rooms upstairs including the “Champions Suite”, “The Tom Watson Boardroom” and the re-named “Duel in the Sun” restaurant.
The clubhouse has long been recognised as one of the best in the golfing world, but Trump has once again spent millions hoping to take it to an even greater level. Director of golf Richard Hall will give a tour of the new clubhouse before Mr Trump and his son officially cut the ribbon on the steps at midday.
