Athletic A close in on darts title

Athletic A are closing in on the title after a 9-1 win at the Hammy.

Athletic B found it tough against The Vaults but eventually ran out 7-3 winners in the battle for second with the mighty Vic, with Ricky Bye turning back the clock and hitting 180, a 146 checkout and 18 dart leg to help Vic beat Kings 9-1.

Harbour Bar continued their best ever season beating royal 7-3 with star man John Madden winning both singles and doubles to secure the win.

Last week Athletic had a good win in the tavern derby against stablemates Athletic B in a close tense game.

But it was the auld heads who kept their cool when it mattered to all but wrap up the title.

The Boars Head continued their climb up the table with a good win against the Harbour Bar. The Vaults got back to winning ways with a good win against the Hammy and the Victory Bar saw off the Royal.
