Club racing towards new fishery

Carrick Angling Club held its annual race night and prizegiving ceremony on Saturday at the Queens Hotel Girvan.

The night was a great success, raising additional funds towards creating a new fishery for Girvan.

There were nine races and a sumptuous buffet before the awards ceremony.

The committee would like to thank sponsors Ultimate Angler, Paddy’s Taxis, Kildonan Country House, Barrhill, Glasgow Angling Centre, Doonfoot Fishings, Milton Fishings and members/guests for their generous donations of raffle prizes.
