The annual celebration of the closing of another successful bowling season took place at Dailly Bowling Club recently.
Bowlers, non bowlers and visitors all came together to enjoy a final game of friendly bowls. The small club started the year with the prospect of closing the doors thanks to the floods that storm Frank had delivered throughout the country.
However thanks to the local community the season ended in celebration and anticipation of another bowling season in 2017. President Ricky Bye gave thanks to all members and visitors who have supported the club during this past year. Although the bowling season has come to an end, the club would like to extend their hospitality within the community with an open night on Friday 28th October from 7.30pm. This will be an opportunity for non members to try carpet bowls, dominoes, cards, or even just to enjoy the banter.
