Girvan primary played a friendly fixture against Ballantrae on Wednesday last week on the all-weather pitch at Hamilton Park.
As the primary sevens were on their Academy visit the P6 team played.
However a masterclass of passing and fleet footwork from Ballantrae resulted in a victory for the away team.
Although Girvan started in a competitive spirit Ballantrae soon turned on the style with goals galore.
Some Ballantrae players were known by Girvan players who play with Girvan youthclub and they seemed to be intimidated by their reputations, which did not help their cause.
A special mention goes to Alan Harkness who scored two goals and Kyle Andrew who also scored and congratulations to Tony McIlwraith who made his debut for the club.
Many thanks to Mrs Clark for transport, refreshments and vocal support and thaks also to the parents and families who turned out to support Girvan.
Girvan will next play at Ballantrae on June 19 when the P7s will get a chance.
