Girvan continued their good form by winning 4-0 away at Darvel on Saturday.
Boss Peter Leonard says it was the best performance from his team since he took over.
He said: “I know they had their goalkeeper sent off after ten minutes but being honest I don’t think if that hadn’t happened it would have made a difference to the outcome.
“I’m delighted with the way we’re playing right now and Saturday was probably the best performance since I came here.
A penalty from Paul Cameron after the sending off set Girvan on their way before goals from Tony Murphy, Robert Patterson and Joe Maxwell rounded off the win.
Leonard said: “Tony Murphy was someone I worked with at Maybole and we’re delighted to have him on board after he left Troon.
“It’s also good to have Josh Sloan back with us after he did very well last season.”
Girvan are home to Thorniewood United on Saturday in the West of Scotland Cup. Kick off at 2pm at Hamilton Park.
Leonard said: “It’s a home tie and our confidence is good so we’re hopeful of getting through. We know it will be a battle against a Glasgow side though.”
