The Vale of Girvan were on their travels once again last Saturday and racked up a 6-3 win over Symington Caledonian.
Amazingly it was 0-0 at half time but it was the Vale’s turn to have the wind at there backs, and they made it pay off after only two minutes when Kenny Gilchrest volleyed home from 12 yards.
Symington pulled one back but five minutes later the Vale were back in front through Liam Wright. It was all square again five minutes later when Nathan Smith headed home. They were once again pegged back but Kevin Wallace bulleted a header to put Vale back in front. The goal of the game came five minutes from time when Nathan Smith went on a solo run to beat four players before firing home. David McVittie added a sixth.
On Saturday Vale are at Woodwynd Wolves, kickoff at 2pm.
