Carrick title hopes still alive

Carrick RFC came away with a narrow 8-6 win away to Newton Stewart on Saturday to keep their league title ambitions alive.

An early try and a penalty before half time meant Carrick led 8-3 at the break and held on for the important win.

With three games remaining in the league, Newton Stewart remain top with a four point lead and a game in hand from second placed Carrick RFC.
