Budding entrepreneurs have the chance to get their hands on some free tickets to one of Scotland’s best-loved music festivals.
The Wickerman Festival, which celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2011, is looking for students to action micro-marketing campaigns in exchange for some of the hottest and most-sought after tickets around as part of a bright new scheme.
Taking place on July 22 and 23 at East Kirkcarswell Farm in Dumfries & Galloway, the Wickerman features a whole host of musical icons and top-notch entertainment that is still to be unveiled.
Organisers are looking to recruit some proactive and personable people to sell tickets to fellow students and for every tenth weekend ticket sold, they will get another free of charge.
Sell 100 tickets, get ten free. It’s as simple as that!
Helen Chalmers, festival coordinator, said: “Being a Wickerman rep is a great opportunity for creative individuals to gain first-hand experience in marketing, PR and campaign management, with the added incentive of an unmissable Wickerman weekend at the end of it all.
“The more tickets you sell, the more free tickets you get, and we have an expert team on board who can offer advice.
“An added benefit is our reps will be among the first people to know who our headline acts will be, and for our tenth anniversary we can guarantee they will be special.”
Student reps will have a unique log-in for skiddle.com – tickets can be bought for £90 online, with a saving of £5 on the outlet price.
Reps will also be automatically entered into a prize draw with the opportunity to win VIP passes, drink tokens and countless other goodies.
